Why do people always assume that going to ITE is bad? I mean, being enrolled in ITE is actually good. I guess teachers do play a part in "influencing" students from going to ITE. Often enough, teachers will say "If you don't study hard, you will go to ITE". Enough said. Any Tom, Dick or Harry would infer from this one very sentence that going to ITE is not so good. Jack Neo's movie, 'I Not Stupid' didn't help when in one scene ITE =
It's The End. How can?
I guess my short but meaningful visit to ITE East today will make me encourage my students to go ITE. I mean, of course if they can go to JC or poly, it'll be good for them. But at the end of the day, if they are very much interested in technical and practical stuff, ITE is very encouraging. Not only does it have state of the art technology, they have quality lecturers as well. At the end of the day, it all depends on individuals. Whether you want to study and make or simply throw your life away (like what I did when I was in school). Thank god I realised it early.
On Wednesday, we visited the Sembawang Airbase and today ITE East. ITE East is definitely more worthwhile. The METI - I think, (Nursing School) is definitely one of the best in Singapore. This human-like plastic patient is the works. It has pulse, veins, eyes that can blink. You name it, you have it. I didn't know that humans have pulse on their feet until today. I guess we all learn something new everyday.
The makan today was alright. I kept on tucking on the desserts. haha. 2 bowls of longan/lychee almond jelly. There goes my morning jog.
Oh ya, that idiot Ryan stood me up this morning. That fella ask me go gym but I told him no cause I went yesterday. Feeling the D.O.M.S. Then he suggested going for a run around the stadium at 8.30am. I said ok. I left home 8.15am, didn't bring my phone. I mean going for a run, where to put my phone right? If go to the gym at least I can leave my phone in the locker. Then the fella didn't turn up. I end up running around the track on my own. Duh....I don't run around the track one. It's so boring. I'd rather go for my run around Yishun (as I always do). Furthermore, I wasn't actually in the mood to run today. Body need to rest also...Monday I ran, Tuesday gym at NIE, Wednesday I ran again, Thurday gym...thought today can rest. Some more, went out last night as well...dinner with dear and walk around. We might buy this nice blazer top from Giordano this weekend. She like one and I like another one. Anyway, I think I really need the rest. Over training already. Been having this splitting headache since Wednesday evening. Flu symptoms also showing. Signs of over training. I'll take it easy for the next couple of days. Start again next week. S league game on tv now. Laterz.
Overtrained,
