Things are according to plan...

So far so good. Everything seems to be according to plan. 2 more "teaching" days. Exams starts on Wednesday. Followed by GCE 'O' Levels invigilation at Evergreen Sec.

I went to U-Home the other day. It looks set that we've decided on U-Home...paid the deposit and stuff. Waiting to select materials and the proposed design. I have my own idea of course.

I went to Woodlands library this afternoon. Met up with some of my little devils to "revise" their English (exam starts tomorrow for them). As what people say, "There's nothing to study for English". The best you can do is to know the format for your situational writing - be it formal or informal letter or report writing. Other than that, try to use the vocabulary words that they've studied or learned throughout the year. The rest is....depends on the exam paper. haha!

Anyway, going to watch the President's Star Charity on Channel 5 now. Laterz.

PS: A huge showdown with my WSS student in class last Friday.

Another week down...

It's been an uneventful week I suppose. Other than the fact that I'm going sign the lease for my keys next week. I've been a bit disappointed with my teaching this week. It's time for some reflection. What can I do to make it work better.

I was down for a marathon oral session last Monday. 3 and half hours...just because I missed out on my session the previous Thursday. I went for a Cluster meeting with the superintendent on Wednesday. Another uneventful session I guess. Of well, it still beats being in school. And on Tuesday, I was at MOE HQ for a PE BT meeting. Pretty much the whole cohort was there. It'll probably be the last time the whole cohort will gather anyway.

Time to laze around again. Do a bit of reflection and prepare for my lessons next week.

Nothing beats being at home....

Home sweet home. Nothing beats the feeling of being at home. Yesterday was the first day of the fasting month. I was also on course...some Classroom Management course at One North. It was pretty much "useless". Duh...a waste of time I must say BUT I didn't mind. I'd rather be on course than be in school hahaha!! But I have to make up to conduct my oral for the sec 1s next week. Damn it!

I had to go to Woodlands Ring Sec this afternoon for a cluster N5 sharing for my English Department. It felt like....like home. I was very much comfortable going back to WRS. One pupil still remembered me....Natalie. She's in sec 3 now and she was the school councillor who welcomed us into the school. I felt very welcomed by the staff....I still se many familiar faces...Bruce, Roy, Rebekah, Selina, Mr Yap, Mr Loy, Kak Su, Razif, MJ and more. I really felt at ease. I even saw Mr Kheng as I was leaving the school. Sometimes...just sometimes...I wonder how it'd be like if I was in WRS. Oh well....I guess I'll never know.

Rebekah told me that yesterday, out of the blue, the 4N7 students asked about me. They asked Rebekah if I'd be coming back. I guess they still didn't know...I feel bad. I did promised them that I'd come back to WRS. I guess it didn't happen either. Oh well....we all have to move on.

Just like me...

What I've done over the past week or so....

It's been more than a week since I last update. When was the last time? Hmm....well, maybe about a week or so. I didn't do much last week....and I LOVE IT!!! Why? School holiday was a blast...not that I went out and enjoyed myself, it was the contrary, I had time to relax and watch tv and simply chill out at home.

I went to "The Cage" on Tuesday. We played for like 3 hours...we booked the court from 3pm - 6pm. It sure has been a while. Then we headed to simpang Bedok for dinner. Chill out, share stories...sure was relaxing. I miss my "chill out" days. I had so many wonderful chill out days in the army and uni. I don't even have enough time to sleep now. Sheessh.

Anyway, dear and I had our photoshoot last Saturday. Wonderful! Brilliant! Marvellous! The first half (and 2 pairs of clothes) were in the studio (Klaseboer itself). The next 2 pairs were at Sentosa - Palawan Beach. I can't wait to see the pictures. It better be good...haha!!

Back to school today....1st week of term 4. Bummer....fasting will start on Thursday. It's going to be one tiring month. Oh well...see how it goes. Anyway, I should be heading to Chew Interior tomorrow. See what the fella has got to offer....the quotation.

My Biological clock is screwed....

I can't believe I'm up at 7.05am on a Sunday morning. Sheesshh....I should be sleeping. This is what happens when you get up at 5.30am every morning. Worse still, I can't sleep anymore. I thought I might as well get up, shower have breakfast and watch a bit of tv. I'll definitely take a nap later in the afternoon.

I didn't do much yesterday. Hit the gym in the morning, and practically stayed home the whole day. Was just too lazy to go out. At least my gf wasn't making noise. After all, we did go out on Friday evening.

What to do today? Hhhhmmmm....no plans yet. Planning to go Causeway Point......planning only. Oh ya...I wanna go JB probably Tuesday or Wednesday as well. I need a new pair of Adidas shoes for school. Another Asics pair would help as well. A couple of shorts....and maybe a bag. Anyway, will update more when I have the time.
