The PESS corner at the canteen was exceptionally quiet. I guess majority of the year ones were at the funeral. It's unfortunate that I couldn't go. I just spoke to Shen earlier on, and guess what? Shen was in the same 4-men-tent as the deceased. He was one of the first few to provide first aid. I believe that he did his best. I just don't know how he's holding up psychologically - he claims that he's alright. That's what matters. Met and saw some of the lecturers earlier on as well. Some told me that they saw Kaori crying. Mr Azhar looked haggard. Prof Teo looked jaded. The PESS family send our condolence.
